The sectional postgraduate course programme: "Design, Organisation and Administration of the means of transport system" (DPMS) of the department of Civil Engineers and Argonomist and Topographer Engineers of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Institute of Technology (I.MET) of the National Centre of Research and Technological Development in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Service and Aegean Airlines, are holding a meeting on the subject "The operational framework and prospects of air travel in Greece" n order to boost knowledge in the field of Air Travel in Greece and the exchange of relevant experience.

Our goal is to present to the participants (members of the Hellenic Association of Transport Experts executives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Civil Aviation Service, Representatives of Airline companies, post graduate students etc) The current icone of airtravel in Greece, the problems that exist and the prospects. In addition, we want to inform the public of these issues.
The subjects which will be presented are:

• The current framework of Design - the Development of the Substructure for the Operational Observation of Air Travel Systems in Greece.
• The current operational framework and the future of European Air Travel. 
• The air traffic control system: Basic meanings and characteristics, current situation and prospects for Greece.
• "The European and Greek Institutional Framework of Air Travel. Practice, Deviations and Effects on the Greek Economy"
• Modern trade agreements concerning air travel.
• Low cost services of air travel: Issues of viability and quality service.
• Organisation and Function of Greek Airports.
